Technology is our Friend??

The level of technological understanding has been questionable to this point

I would like to hear about the difficulties taking a Posed and Candid picture, adding a caption, saving as a JPEG and uploading the JPEG to the Jostens website.

Pictures - More or Less

Simple Question

Have you taken enough pictures of your Grade level? Have you done enough to take pictures of your grade levels at different times of the day instead of the same time - Nutrition or Lunch?

Construction of Pages

As you get into the construction of your Grade Level or Subject Level Pages it is important to remember that creativity and having fun with your page and write-up will show through and bring smiles to those reading the Yearbook.

Grade Level Work

Here is a time for you to be very honest regarding your effort towards your grade level in the book or your role assigned on the staff.

How much work/effort have you really put in? Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks?

Is there tangible work/material/information to show your effort?

 

Again - your ability to post to the blog has already shown tremendous effort by some!!

 

So far there have not been many responses to the topics given. I am hoping that changes with this topic.

Each Year the Yearbook Staff gets a collared shirt to wear to events identifying them as St. Anne Yearbook Staff.

Taking Photos

When taking Photos on campus or of St. Anne events off of campus is it more important to get a lot of people in a few pics or a few people in a lot of pics? and why?

 

Is it better to get photos close up of people or far away? and why

 

I am hoping that more then 5 people realize it is necessary to hit the blog and respond by next Thursday!!!

Theme for 2012-2013

Each year the Yearbook has a new and original THEME that sets the tone and mood for the Yearbook.

The THEME allows the staff to have a general color scheme and verbage, titles & headlines used throughout the grade level pages.

We will be talking more about Themes in class

but

until then

Welcome back to school and congratulations for making onto the St. Anne Shield Yearbook Staff.

 

We will meet

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 7am to 740am up in Mr. Hartman's classroom.
